Not just a magazine, but an icon of the Catalina 22 National Sailing Association since 1972. As the official source for Catalina 22 sailing news, articles for MainBrace or the website may be sent to Editor Rich Fox at email c22mainbrace@yahoo.com. Published six times a year, MainBrace article submission deadlines are Noon Eastern on January 15, April 1, June 15, July 15, September 15 and November 1. Website postings may be submitted at any time.

If you are a C22NSA member, you may also:

  • Log-in then download the recent MainBrace publications from the past three years by using the login icon on the top main menu bar.
  • Purchase a MainBrace Archive DVD that contains all past issues dating back to Fall 1972.  
  • Subscribe to Mainsheet magazine published by the Catalina Yachts Store.

Early Fall MainBrace Magazine Now Available

The Early Fall MainBrace magazine is now available. Features include the Catalina 22 Great Lakes Cruise, Throwdown in Motown Regatta, Fleet 101, Region 3 News, Catalina 22 MK-II as the Ultimate Trailerable Cruiser, and a handful of tech tips.

Mainsheet Magazine by the Catalina Yachts Store

When you join or renew your C22NSA membership, you have the option to purchase a subscription to Mainsheet magazine published by the Catalina Yachts Store. Although the Catalina 22 class has a regular presence in Mainsheet, the magazine covers many of the other sailboat classes built by Catalina Yachts. Mainsheet is published quarterly and accessible online only. For only $14 for a one-year subscription, Mainsheet is a great way to stay connected with the Catalina Yachts family. Two-year and three-year subscriptions are also available. 

Mainsheet magazine was re-launched in Spring 2026. Holly Hannah, owner of the Catalina Yachts Store, is committed to help carry on the legacy of Catalina Yachts with this publication. Your subscription to Mainsheet magazine is appreciated. 

Mainsheet is published by the Catalina Yachts Store and includes articles from many other associations in the Catalina Yachts family.

MainBrace is published by the Catalina 22 National Sailing Association and includes articles about the Catalina 22 only.
